so we don't buy him we have no ambition, we buy him, we've paid too much, despite wba paying 10m+ for a premier unproven striker and Fulham paying 11m for a 27 yo pub league player.
damned if they do and spat on if they
don't. You bleating classes are a tough audience.

Just a thought....minus those two goals against the Mags...... £14m? Really.....

I'm going to see Man City v Liverpool at Yankee Stadium. Please reply with any questions for Borini. Sure to come across him there.

Ask him how he's going to feel with so many splinters in his ass. hehe

Actually he might not get that many - I'm not sure how many times he is going to make the bench.

According to Rodgers the injury is not serious (bruising) and he won't train again during the rest of their trip, but should start again in a just "a matter of days".

Think it's time we walk away and look else where.

Couldn't agree more. If the lad doesn't jump at the chance of playing here, after the massive backing and respect he got from the fans last year, then he can go to hell. I really really dont have the time of day for prima donna's, or " well Im keeping my options open" players,GRRRRRRRR

Lets go elsewhere---

Rodgers could hardly say that the lad will be out for weeks and that will be £14 mil please. It's in his interest to play this sort of thing down. Normally a managers reserve their opinion until the medics have had a proper look at it.

If for £14m we get a 10 goal season player, most of which are from the penalty spot, how much do we have to pay for a 20 goal a season man?!!! Who can blame Borini for doing all he cal to try and make a break through at Liverpool? They are a top side, have great history, and are in the CL. We can't compete with that and as soon as he signs for someone like us permanently he's giving up any ambition for playing for a top side. Give the lad a break - if he comes then great.

Keep away from sharp objects

Yes because that's exactly how it works FFS.

if it was really bad he wouldn't have continued at all never
mind for a few minutes.
you seem to be blaming him and his agent for the non signing when maybe the blame could lie to some extent with Liverpool ie not meeting contractual obligations re payoffs. Its not an uncommon thing
Or Borini might just not want to come here.

Liverpool clearly know something about the deal or they wouldn't be playing him. Either that or Rodgers doesn't want him to go. Maybe this injury scare will bring a bit more pressure to get the deal done.

like we said yesterday, it's one of the wiederst things I can remember seeing - Rodgers must want him to stay, maybe an injury helps or maybe his just thick, whatever it's like an episode of Tales of the Unexpected.

it is bizarre, people are making all these excuses, but never seen a player playing when a fee has been agreed and the player hasn't outright rejected us.

I don't think Poyet sounds as confident of getting him as he was.

While I would be disappointed as I like him personally, and he would attract other people to join, we need to establish very quickly if he has any intention of coming, because we need to get our team together.
