yep, but would he rather come here and fight relegation? doubt it. it was fine for him to play his heart out here, because he knew he'd be going back to a top 6 team regardless of wether we went down or not.

Like, I suspect, most people I would like Borini to sign. And like most people I haven't a clue if he will. However it's 100% certain that Borini or indeed any other player under contract to a club will not prejudice their potential pay off from their current employers by saying that they want to leave and play for another club. ' I want to stay and fight for my place' normally means make it worth my while.

How would he be prejudicing any pay off when his parent club have accepted a bid for him?

Well if he would rather play in the reserves for Liverpool than come here and be one of the first names on our team sheet its a very sad reflection of modern day footballers

He said he wants regular football though, he won't get that at Liverpool. he'll be lucky to get anything other than cup games. If he's happy to sit in their reserves and not play then thats his decision, still not convinced he'd do that though. We'll soon see
