Please accept my apologies but by my own admission I am probably one of the least computer literate members on here but I felt the news was worth posting.
They payed 10,5... He hasn't gotten worse
4 goals from open play in the league. I hope we sign him and I wouldn't mind us overspending, but he's not a world beater and no one will pay 12m so we should get him for 8-9m.
He still has to put them awayThis is true, he scored vital goals but a lot were pens like
Fans shouldn't forget this.

How many pens did le tissier score out of the many goals for Southampton
f***ing sweet Jesus![]()
Unquestionably worth 8-10 million.
Hard working. Chips in with a fair amount of goals from wide positions. Provides continuity instead of uncertainty. Italian. Lovely stubble. Italian. Great attitude for big matches. Pacey. Composed. Italian.

Woah mate, I am desperate to sign him, as many others are, just lets not get carried away about how good he is.
Isn't it nice to have someone that can score pens? They aren't a given you know.
Gardner, Ki, Johnson all good penalty takers. It's not like there's only a select league of players who can score from the spot.
It's nice to have one in Borini, but it doesn't make that much of a difference. Johnson could take the spot kicks, Gomez can take one and we're in the market for other players two.Two of which aren't here. I'm just saying its nice to have a confident penalty taker - makes a big difference IMO
But he scored against Newcastle and at Wembley....The Borini hype machine is getting out of control.
He is a decent player, who had a good season in a struggling side.
People are going on about him as if he is world class man, it's verging on weird.
Not worth over £10m either
Very true but, a none comparison these days.
Transfer fees have come down or stagnated lately.
Let's think about worth right now.
Here's probably the best way to get a ballpark figure for a players value. What was their contribution like to their team last season? Borini was MASSIVE for is last year, he, Wickham, Johnson, Catts and Vito kept us up and got us to the final, he's easily worth £10million to us, Liverpool know that, they also paid £12m for him as well as knowing what his potential is, Borini is most certainly worth £10-£13 million right now, give it a month a his value might drop as other players similar to him pull it out the bag down in Brazil! Values change almost every week!
