Excellent move for us (if were getting cash as reported)

People slagging Milan off are perhaps being a bit short sighted, hes hardly gonna be a regular and at the end of the day theyve paid £5m (peanuts) to get an Italian on the books for quota reasons and whilst we all know hes shit, hes more than capable of playing against the bottom third of that league.

Can't I be interested in having debates with other football fans then??

It's not even getting involved in a debate, it's just the typical Newcastle fan way of making a snide remark but trying to cover it up. "You're making another loss" and "who's your striking options", it's pathetic man.

There's always a Newcastle thread for some reason on here so go get amongst that or one of the generic football threads, nothing wrong with that (although why a Newcastle fan visits a forum for Sunderland fans is beyond me).

It's just weird how you're always cropping up having an input on a club that's irrelevant to you. Proper single person virgin behaviour in my opinion.

It's a shame it's ended up like this. When he was supposed to be coming back under Poyet it really felt like we were getting a brilliant young player who would only get better. Then it didn't happen, he wasn't given a chance at Liverpool and it seemed to result in him begrudgingly joining us.

Or the one v West Ham the previous season to put us 3-0 up
We were absolutely battering them but as soon as he put that wide you just knew we were going to bottle it.

How much did we pay Liverpool for him...was it 10 million or so?

Probably still owe them 6 million...great deal ha!

People were blinded by his work rate whilst on loan, once he eventually came on a permanent deal he's been nothing short of woeful! His end product is shocking whether played as a winger or the odd time up front! His attitude last season was a joke! Take what we can get and move on, he's got a lot of confidence in his ability but imo he's just not very good!

Why try and rewrite history?

He scored 10 goals.

Fabio Borini-AC Milan: today in Italy, tomorrow medicals, €6M + add ons to Sunderland. Done deal. #SAFC #AcMilan #transfers
