I thought players have CT scans nowadays as the norm. Pretty sure that's a hospital job, especially when there's millions of pounds involved.

Might be nowadays, always used to have a Physio feel first and see the player moving, if all is good then the MRI scan isn't needed, might have changed, I've not been involved with clubs much for a few years now.
