Borini.... I know I know

It was so bad I wondered, at times, if Poyet knew he wasn't coming and used it as a convenient excuse because he could already see it going wrong.
I think he clearly new he wasn't coming but hoped somehow he would get him end of window on loan, guy was weird and his tactics became even weirder

If only he could see into the future Phooey, much like yourself really. Save you making a complete arse of yourself calling players shite who are not.
I never said he was shit, just that he does not want to play for us. I thought after last season's farce trying to sign him that everyone should move on and forget about him.

I don't think Borini was completely blameless mind and I think he made the wrong decision career wise too, but Gus's continuous comments about him speaking to him and knowing him and being confident made the whole situation worse.
No he made a mistake not leaving but noone can blame him for trying, although Rodgers did clearly tell him where he stood at Liverpool. We all make bad choices in life (f***ing hell why did i get married ), shame Borini couldn't see football wise and idol wise, the guy should have come here

Absolutely he should. Rodgers did everything but put him in the car and drive him away from Anfield in terms of letting him know how unwanted he was.

People bitter about Borini because he chose to give himself a chance at a top end club!
Better to try and fail than not try at all. The lad can now find himself a suitable level and club and see what happens from there.
Gave his all for us and that's all can ask of a player.
I'd certainly have him back .

Our priorities are central midfielder and a striker if we get rid of Fletcher and or Graham.

Borini isn't good enough to play as a central striker and therefore I'd say he's no longer a target for us.

Oh and he also made it abundantly clear last year.......

HE DOES'NT WANT TO COME HERE
neither did kaboul want to come here a few years ago - and look where he is now !!

Not what we need.

I've got no complaint that he didn't come last summer - he's entitled to make whatever decision he wants. But realistically we need another midfielder and after that perhaps a centre forward, not someone who plays in the same position as Jeremain Lens.
