Borini.... I know I know

I think it changed to length of membership rather than post count or something daft.

Ha, I bet they fucked up the database and The Streaker went, 'Meh!, hassle of restoring or length of membership, length of membership carried unanimously by a margin of 1 out of one'

Whenever these things come up I always say the same thing - is he better than what we've got?

I'd say yes. He's a striker, and I can't say any of the others are better than him.

Would be over the moon to have him back.

A player who wanted to prove he was good enough At Liverpool. A player who believes he should play at the top level and has the fight and desire in him to try and prove it.

That sort of player or a spice boy who rarely scores & looks for ways out due to niggles all the time as gritting his teeth and fighting is too much to ask?

The only people who wouldn't want Borini back see the world only through red & white tinted spectacles, taking his decision to try again at Liverpool as some sort of personal slight.

Never gave less than 100%, scored a winner against the mags, scored for us at Wembley, never made any secret of his desire to make it at Liverpool. Would love him back.

You have just reminded me how ball greedy he was. How many assists could he have had instead of opposition goal kicks and corners, one hell of a lot. All the hullaballoo of Gus' infatuation had clean struck it from my mind.

A very VERY good point I had completely forgotten.

I think a good few got a demotion, or just you and me, who knows and in reality who cares. Unless that is you are a Reddit Karma whore, in which case condolences ;)

I don't even know what that is

Let's get something straight. The problem wasn't that he wanted to stay at Liverpool, no one could blame him for that. The annoying thing was that he didn't just rejected the offer, he kept delaying the decision until it was too late and we were forced to make a panic buy.

That's our fault not his. He has every right to take his time deciding his own future.

I don't think thats even true, Poyet kept telling people it was a possibility but he pretty much rejected us very early on

He never wanted to come, which is fine, the rest of it is just nonsense.

And it just keeps coming ......... if we're not careful we'll make ourselves look stupid again with threads like this.

I don't buy that. Why would the club keep talking about the possibility of a transfer since there was a clear "No"? Makes no sense.
