Wey man haway!! How's he been shite
I was hoping he was gonna have his first shot on target since January on Sunday.

So neither are the players that help translate defence into attack in the midfield and have a monopoly on midfield physicality for both teams ??
Ouch, my head hurts.
You're explaining M'Vila in a nut shell there. That doesn't go for Sissoko. He's a 'No 10/advanced winger.
Can't compare.

He's been average I would say. His movement is very good as we saw against West Ham. Awful finish though. He would be a miss, no doubt about that for me.
His movement (along with his workrate) is his biggest asset for me - he's an intelligent footballer. I think Allardyce's more rigid and less fluid tactics will restrict him in that respect and he will struggle to shine if he continues to be played from the left in an Allardyce team.
I may be wrong and things may be different at home but the signs were certainly there against WBA.

Not really bothered whether Borini is playing or not

The only player I would be bothered about if he wasn't playing is M Vila

Sorry like, I'm a Borini fan but the miss was shocking. One on one & in the box you should be hitting it on target at least
Someone like you or I would but he thought he was good enough to aim for the smallest part of the goal which imo isn't the percentage shot. He was a fraction out from where he tried to place it. I certainly don't have a problem with his miss and happy for him to keep shooting.

Wtf? It was an appalling miss with the goal at his mercy. He should have been able to pass it into the net.
He aimed for a square foot of the goal and just missed so nothing wrong in how he strikes a ball just went for the most difficult option. Shot selection needs to improve and perhaps look at the percentage shot across the keeper or hit hard and hope the pace beat the keeper.

Must admit I'm gutted.
I know he hasn't played as well as he can since he's came back.
However I think he would be perfect for the way I think Big Sam will set up. Be compact, deny them space and let them come onto us. Set traps all over the pitch and expose them when they push too many bodies forward...win set pieces and make the most of them. He's got pace and he can run all day. His movement is very good and he can help us win the ball back.
I fear if Borini is out he might go with Larsson and Lens out wide. Not sure if Big Sam will trust Defoe even though he worked so hard in the last derby. Adam Johnson doesn't look in good condition either so can't see that drastically changing in a week. The problem is Larsson isn't a threat in behind and can't carry the ball which is essential for counter attack play. Its not like we have any pace up front, in Fletcher.

I don't want him to play if he isn't 100% fit though. Maybe its fate that his replacement grabs the winner! That's what happened when Ryan Taylor scored against us. Enrique would have played but he was sold a few days before.

Oh shit !!
Is Ola fit for Sunday? Hoping so, will cause them so much trouble in the wide mid areas. Lens back, and hopefully Johnson starts and my 2-0 acca on Us, Man City and Liverpool pays for Xmas! Edit, Balls to the Manc's and Dippers, us to win and Xmas comes early.
