Booked a girly lodge weekend today for September

Had this “debate/arguement” on another thread about who has lost out most.
Its not top trumps but, young people have lost out on so many rights of passage, sitting exams, flour and eggs and blazer graffit, getting results, 16th birthdays, 18th and 21st birthdays, graduations.
And even just a year of going out with their mates, making relationships and kopping off.
They can never ever get that back
And we cant get it back either. The big difference is that they have more years left to attempt to make up for lost time.

Me & Mrs TBM are off to Torquay for 5 days, last week in July.

I also booked us a night in Melrose (Scottish Borders) as one of her Christmas presents. Initially booked for the end of Feb which was optimistic, have now put it back to first weekend in July (For an extra £40!).

Even if there are some restrictions when we do go, I wouldn't be too bothered. We went to Dumfries for an overnight stay in September and had just as good of a time.
