I'm going to update the cover to one of my books. I have two similar versions but can't decide which I like best. Moon or no moon? Help me choose.

I like it without, but as they're mostly sci-fi shorts I thought the oversized moon might allude to the content somewhat...The moon makes for a less bright horizon. Make of that what you will.

This fella knows. ^^Bottom one.
Top one looks like you've put your mug on it.
Disclaimer - I am absolutely the last person you should listen to on book cover advice.
I could, yes.Can you place the moon central to the cover and have the top half in shot with the sea forming the horizon with the moon?
Edit. Rule of thirds and have the top of the moon and edge of the sea framing the page.
