Amnesty International is charity. Is refugees welcome a charity like?
Cynical post. It’s Amnesty international.Just a marketing campaign to put the club in a good light. Sadly just taking advantage of refugees
They should put their name on the shirt thenAmnesty International is charity.
Poor marketing. It does look a bit virtue signally like. They should have had Amnesty international as the logoCynical post. It’s Amnesty international.
Is virtue signalling always a bad thing?Virtue signalling is what you're looking for
Unless whoever made this decision are actually making efforts to house refugees in which case good luck to them
Are the club actually doing something about it or just sticking it on their shirt?
No there's different levels to it.Is virtue signalling always a bad thing?
Yep very cynicalCynical post. It’s Amnesty international.
What would you like them to do? What have SAFC and Charlton done for Children with Cancer? What did Barca do for UNICEF?
I imagine all the of the above have used their shirts to raise awareness and highlight issue.
I'm not sure why, but a word was missing somehow. The day we consider not welcoming refugees [the clue's in the name – 'a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster'] a political statement is the day that a society – and humanity – has utterly failed.
Man you really plumbing the depths here .Why?? It happens in the world everyday, politicians do it everyday, are you that stupid?
If Tesco sponsored them, would there be a thread on here??
Amnesty International is charity.
That was a funny threadCome on mate. You’re talking to the bloke that thought BBC Alba was for the lads in Tirana. He’s hardly famed for his critical thought
OH SHIT, HAVE I SAID THE WRONG THING, SNOWFLAKEMan you really plumbing the depths here .
Great charity. I'm SAFC are associated with them.A great deal, I expect.
Its been added to the terror watchlist by Priti Patel. It won't belong before Bohemians on the same list once she sees that shirtSo is Amnesty International. That's who are sponsoring the jersey.
So is Amnesty International.
Neither is "Refugees Welcome" , to anyone with half a brain.
Well don't you seem an absolutely delight.
Amnesty International is charity.
Explain then?Of course it is. Maybe not to you but to many others it is.
I’m just not naive.
Refugees welcome isn’t though
