Would any SMBers who are wanting to lose some kite be interested in taking part in a body transformation for charity.

Its a donation of at least £10 to take part with the winner getting all the donations for their chosen charity, its a good way to keep motivation up, also a small individual prize for 1st 2nd and 3rd placings.

I'm taking part and if i win then will be donating winnings to bradleys fight.

This is the link:

http://www.tmuscle.co.uk/blog/charity-transformation.128/

it does say the chaity needs a charity number but i have conformed with the owner of the site that bradleys fight can be used as he can see its genuine.

@speedyftm mebys you can get some people you know to take part.

When does it start? Won't be taking part myself but may have some clients interested as a bit of extra motivation. Link it's loading on my phone so will have a look at full details when I get in.

entrys accepted between 25th april and 12th may mate.

Our transformation competitions have always gone down well. But now, there's a new dimension – raising cash for charity.

Historically, transformation challenges have meant posting starting pics, training hard to make the biggest physique changes possible in a short amount of time, posting finishing pics, and winning a prize if your transformation is one of the top three, as judged by fellow members and board moderators.

All of that still holds true for our Charity Transformation contest, but with the added dimension that each entrant will chip in to a charity pot, with the overall winner taking ALL contributions for his or her chosen charity.

Every entrant will receive a "Charity Transformation Competitor" banner, which will run under their avatar picture for the duration of this competition.

And members who aren't entering this time around will have the opportunity to make a general donation into the same charity pot. Of course, this isn't compulsory at all, but if you'd like to donate, then you'll receive a "Charity Contributor" banner to run under your avatar for the length of the contest.

The Rules
Your chosen charity must be an officially-recognised one. "Dave's beer fund" won't do. :D

Your charity will be eligible if it can be found here: http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/find-charities/

If you're unsure if your chosen charity will be okay, please ask in the forum thread before entering.

The minimum contribution fee to enter will be £10, with no upper ceiling – if you're feeling chipper, then someone will additionally benefit from your generosity.

Monies will be paid directly into a PayPal holding account ([email protected]). There is no physical handling of cash, and PayPal fees will be covered by TMuscle itself and will not come from the contribution pot so that every penny donated will go to a good cause.

The top three will win small supplement prizes to the value of £50, £30, and £20 for themselves, respectively. The exact prizes will be announced soon, once we've spoken to sponsors.

The charity chosen by the overall winner will receive all charity monies held in the holding account. These will be paid over within three working days, or as soon as practically possible, of the announcement of the winner, and proof of transfer will be obtained.

Entries will be accepted between Friday, 25 April and Monday, 12 May, giving you three weekends to get your pics together. Obviously, the sooner you enter, the sooner you can crack on with your transformation.

The competition ends at 8pm on Friday, 1 August – giving you, maximally, 14 weeks to progress. You may post up final progress pics at ANY time BEFORE this cut-off point, to accommodate TMuscle members who may be on holiday. Late submissions, beyond 8pm Friday, 1 August will be disregarded. This is a strict cut-off and members are encouraged to get their final pics up a day or two in advance of the cut-off to avoid problems. In the event of forum down-time, a new cut-off date will be set.

The top three transformation competitors will be decided by member, moderator and guest judge votes.

Only members who had joined TMuscle by the start of the competition will be eligible to vote. This is to avoid the unlikely scenario of lots of one-post friends joining up to vote. Votes made by members who joined after Monday, 12 May will, unfortunately, be disregarded this time around.

Members will vote for their number one (winner), number two (second place) and number three (third place), with number one receiving three points, number two receiving two points, and number three receiving one point.

Moderators will vote in a similar fashion, but their votes will be double-weighted (six, four and two points, respectively).

The guest judge's vote will be triple-weighted (nine, six and three points, respectively). Details on the guest judge(s) will be announced soon.

The member with the highest number of points wins and his chosen charity takes all charity funds.

The point count will be checked by at least two independent parties to ensure the correct tally is reached.

The points decision is final and the result may not be appealed unless strong evidence of cheating by a member/members is uncovered.

Entrants may not PM or otherwise coerce other members to vote for them.

How to Enter
A QR code will be released by TMuscle at 8pm on Friday, 25 April. This code can be printed or displayed on a tablet and MUST appear in at least one of your official entry photographs. It must appear in the photo with you, and not as a separate entity. A photo of your screen bearing the code, with no evidence of your physique in the same photo, will NOT be accepted. If your code-bearing photo does not also reveal enough of your current physique, a competition moderator will politely request that it is retaken. The code does not have to appear in all photos – one is enough.

While entries with only one photo are strictly eligible, people who submit more than one photo are likely to do better for obvious reasons – it will be easier to judge your improvements at vote time. For that reason, entrants may submit between one and eight photographs.

At the end of the competition the result will be judged on a comparison between before and after photos, therefore you need to try and ensure the photos are of reasonable quality and allow for fair judging. In the past we have had problems judging entries (and people have lost out) due to:
  • Bad lighting or inconsistent lighting in 'before' and 'after' photos.
  • Inconsistent posing in 'before' and 'after' photos.

Common sense applies, but if you can ensure photos are full body and the more pictures and angles the better (up to a maximum of eight). For instance if you're going for fat loss, a side on picture will probably demonstrate this better than one face on. When posting up the 'after' pictures have a quick check of your 'before' photos so that you can try to pose in the same way, as often a small difference in posing can make a big difference to how you look. Poses that are not included in both before and after pictures may be discarded for judging.

People often like to try to make themselves look as bad as possible at the start to make the change seem better; this tends to be quite easy to spot, so please don't do this as you'll be marked down.

Click here to find your charity. Note its official charity number.

Once you have the charity number and official charity name, click here to be taken to the contributions page. You may pay by card or with PayPal. Please add your TMuscle username to the notes of the PayPal transaction when making payment. Please pay by bank and send as a gift payment to [email protected] if possible as that will result in no fee for TMuscle to cover.

Then, click here to be taken to the Charity Transformation logs section. Start a new thread and give it a personal title.

In this thread:
  1. Post your pics, including at least one bearing the QR code and your full physique.
  2. Give the name of your chosen charity.
  3. Give the charity number of your chosen charity.
  4. State your general goals, eg cut, recomp, bulk, etc, and any specific goals you may have eg add an inch to arms, legs, etc.
  5. (Optional) Tell the community a little about why you have chosen this particular charity. We're sure members would love to know the story behind your choice but we also understand that such choices may be for highly personal reasons. It is, therefore, entirely at your discretion as to whether you complete this section.
  6. Progress updates and information about your journey may be posted in your thread, as normal.
  7. Final pics must also be uploaded to this thread by 8pm on Friday, 1 August. The same QR code MUST be included in at least one of your final pics that shows your full physique.

WHERE POSSIBLE, PLEASE UPLOAD FINAL PICS INTO YOUR INITIAL THREAD-OPENING POST ON PAGE ONE, BELOW YOUR STARTING PICS, CLEARLY INDICATING WHICH SET OF PICS IS WHICH. This will save the competition moderator a lot of time in collating all entrants' dual photo sets into one main voting thread and your cooperation is appreciated. You may do this by logging in to the forum and selecting "Edit" at the bottom of the opening post.

How to Donate as a Non-Competitor
If you don't fancy entering this time around, but would like to donate to the charity fund, please click here. Please include your username in the PayPal notes when making payment. Many thanks for your support. You will receive your avatar banner shortly afterwards.

The Finish Line
Once final pics have been posted and the deadline reached, a voting thread will be created as soon as is practically possible. Voting will then commence and will continue for a period of 14 days, with an 8pm cut-off on the final day.

Results will be announced soon after.
