BMW X5 Hybrid

I had one and kept it 6 months. Lovely car but having opted out the company car scheme I wasn’t benefitting from a tax point of view.
in the winter the true miles on the batteries was about 8-10 miles, summer went to about 18.
lovely car but my electric bill shot you. That said averaged 46 mpg over 10,000 miles I had it so pretty good.

My mates got one and his has a 40 odd average mpg too. It is a bit misleading though because although the car really is doing 46 miles per gallon of fuel, your electric bill has gone through the roof. In real terms it’s nowhere near mid 40’s.

Look at me I can afford a £36k second hand car etc etc

Nice motor to be fair would just worry about extra electric bills and also battery life as car gets older

Oh and can you sell me some powder ? when you get the car obviously
