Has anyone has experience of using some of the online blood labs like Medichecks for assessing your hormone levels and other blood markers? I’ve found that the last few months I’ve been knackered and workouts have been a slog and having turned 40 I’m wondering if my test levels are on the slide.

I had mine done a couple months back but the guy came to my gym and took them, think he’s there every few months or so (think he said he’s due back in the new year) if you’re on IG he’s called drawbloodservices

Yeah they're brilliant, but can be quite expensive.

If you're good on coin right now, then get one, as it could help unearth something. If you're tight up for Christmas, perhaps consider a de-load week, maintenance calories, and eating highly nutritious foods.

I use Thriva.
Three monthly, basic tests with added specialist ones (extra lipids, iron/ferritin, thyroid, inflammatory markers). Frequent enough to see the effects of changes in diet, exercise protocols etc. Have to squeeze drops of blood into a tube at home but easy and results available in a few days with medical oversight.
