Blokes getting driven around in cars by women

Same here. I'm learning at the mo but the Mrs has driven for 10 years. She can't wait for me to pass so I can do my share of the driving and she can gan to kip for a change.

Genuine question.

How do you get to your 30s am guessing without being able to drive.

It's one of life's essentials imo. I don't love it or owt but everything would be just so much more difficult if I couldn't drive

Between keeping the son the two daughters and the Mrs cars on the road paying to fix them doing what I can myself to keep them going, getting wheels/tyres changed, taking them for MOTs, cleaning them, changing bulbs. I use them as my own little taxi firm when out socialising other than that if I’m in it I’m driving it!!!!

I always think this. Was my first priority after leaving school and made sure my kids have done the same.

Same here mate, I will ensure our 2 do the same when there 17

Have mates especially in the fishing world who don’t drive and rely on other people giving them lifts and they can only go certain places where other lads are going. Normally find the same lads jump ship like a rat if ya motor is off the road. And moan about putting fuel in.

When yet say mates do you mean tight kernts ;)

Sinister

If a couples out and about for the day, the bloke automatically drives imo.

The reverse scenario is weird unless alcohol has been consumed
:):) WTF?

There are many things to worry about in the world, I never thought of this as being one. If we are heading out anywhere as a family at the weekend then it is just a case of who picks up the keys. I’m secure in my masculinity that I don’t think it weakens me if she picks up the keys.

With cycling to work and if the missus does some of any weekend driving, I can easily go a couple of weeks without getting behind the wheel. It is nice.

It's now to do with masculinity it's just about normality. A woman driving a man about just looks wrong.

TBH even I'm going out on the drink and we are in her car. Its always expected that I will drive there before jumping out and her getting in the driving seat.

You should be f***ing ashamed of yourself

If that’s us ,she will get out and run round and jump into the passenger seat straight away .
I’ll say “ ye just f***ing drive man it’s only round the corner “
Her “ Na ,I’m not driving with you in ,you make me nervous “

I’m the one who started giving her lessons in the first place ..

Next you'll be telling me you have a problem with this

Not sure really. The blokes involved usually look like the dominated types
I see. Does blokes making the dinner if the wife earning more seem equally as strange in this crazy modern era?

I did just open a tricky jar of jam for the wife so I do feel good this morning.
