Blame Cattermole man not big Sam!

Sam lost the game the moment he tinkered.
How does this club manage to upset me over a game I had already accepted we were going to lose???

his 3 contributions to the match were trying to guard out a cross and spurs took the ball off him, failing to divert not a powerful shot then the inevitable booking (85th in top flight) gives Sam little option to chop him. As his replacement is utter shit Sam decides to strengthen behind him.

Thats how I see it. Looked miserable as sin when subbed, should try paying to watch his incompetance.

1-1 when he went off.

I thought he was booked for nothing, but then you have to consider that more often than not he's lost his head or disappeared rather than gotten a grip of the rest of the game.

For my money he's not clever enough in using his reputation to his advantage. Other red card magnets like Petit and Viera were just as likely to get the opposition sent off as see a red card themselves - if that was me what would you do ref?

He was doing fine, he didn't lose his head, I actually agree that has happened inthe past, but he made 2 cracking challenges just before he was subbed. Big Sam got it wrong, he just needs to admit it.

Yet when he was on the pitch we only conceded 1 goal.

When he was replaced by Rodwell they walked through us like a knife through butter. exactly the same happened at Arsenal in the league a few weeks ago. The score was 1-1 when he was replaced by Rodwell there too

Put me back on ignore, you buffoon.

Before Cattermole went off we were getting into a solid defensive shape. We then switched to a formation that gives the opposition space in the middle and opens the game up a lot. It was a stupid decision from Allardyce.

The 3rd goal (and the German trying goose stepping to block the ball) wouldn't have happened with Cattermole on the pitch, nobody near Eriksen (should have been Rodwell) allowing him to take the shot.

Sams tactics lost the game, although things may have been better had that daft shite Catts just hoofed the ball off the line.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need to keep Big Sam, but fuck me he makes some tragic howlers out there and people would be wise to recognise that

Cattermole had a good game. He was our best passer, best tackler and best leader. He was unfortunate with the goal (he was the only outfield player alert after we scored, tracking the play well) and silly for the yellow card.

With him on the park we were organised, competitive and Spurs weren't getting behind us. He went off and we went to pot, as is often the case without Cattermole on the park. He hasn't picked up a second yellow card for his last 20 bookings or something so unless he was injured it was a crap sub. Could quote a load of boring stats to support the argument, yet again, but will spare the board of that this time

You on a wind up?
Dembele fouling all day and not even a ticking off. One foul for Catts and it's a card.

Mike Dean has it in for Catts - he always looks to book him. If it was reversed and Cattermole had made the same tackles as Dembele I reckon Dean would have sent him off by half time.

Sam was terrified of that 2nd booking I reckon so subbed him and it all turned to shit after that......

If he had been sent off, would no one on the pitch made much more difference than having Rodwell on the pitch?!

He wouldn't have gotten sent off though thats the point, he never does get 2nd yellows anymore, Hoddle and Savage annoyed me because they are just making it up

Here ya go... goal differential will be the nail in the coffin on the final day of the season... you just know it.

I dont think he would of either but I'm saying worst case scenario! 10 men or 11 with Rodwell - they are the same!
