Source- Harker and Cook "Blackwell will be back at C L S this week and has another year on his contract. The Club are committed to developing Borthwick and the pitches this year have not been right for playing 2 spinners.There are not many counties able to match the money he is on"
interpretation - if Blackwell wants to stay he can but if he wants to find another county we will not stand in his way.
Blackie also quoted in Brhm press as not wanting to play 2nd team cricket and to being flexible about his future
