11th and 4 points off the play-offs.
It would probably be a canny move for him, to be fair.
Blackburn a canny move? It's not exactly a great move, playing in front of circa 14k fans. Their attendances are only ever swelled when away fans take the full allocation and I'll be surprised if he wages are much better.
I should’ve worded it better.
What I should’ve said was if he was to leave us, Blackburn is probably the best he could get.
I think it is a disgrace that they aren't trying to sort out a new contract. Why do they have to wait until after the window, can they only focus on one thing at a time like?
I would have throught it was important to make the player feel wanted and make him feel the club see it as a priority to get it sorted.

I just don't like the stance of "we are too busy during January to even think about offering him a new contract". Does it take the entire staff to look at transfers, and sorting out the contract of a league one keeper, who will be on peanuts isn't possible?Disgrace? What if the initial talks didnt go well (as Donald said - I know I know...) due to the fact there was a lot of interest in him during the summer and his agent was trying to drum up interest? You cant offer contracts if agents and the player aren't listening or wanting to talk.
McLaughlin hasnt mentioned his contract until a couple of weeks ago, which surprise surprise co insides with a) donald being under massive pressure and the villain for everything and b) a transfer window.
I look at that and think McLaghlin and his agent are playing the situation for what it's worth.
Burge hasn't done anything wrong at allI personally think he's vital, I don't rate burge at all
Does that mean I should rate him highly??? Two of my best pals are Coventry season tickets, I've seen him play quite a few times, they were all happy to see him move on. He's rated as pretty average by tgem, McLaughlin is much the better all round keeper, I fear what could happen if we sold himBurge hasn't done anything wrong at all
Yet burge has done nothing wrong and big John has cost us 5-6 goalsDoes that mean I should rate him highly??? True, but It sounds I know a bit more about him than you with all due respectYet burge has done nothing wrong and big John has cost us 5-6 goals
He been better than john this season couldn't give a shit about what he did last seasonTrue, but It sounds I know a bit more about him than you with all due respect
He may have improved due to our coaching since his move though.True, but It sounds I know a bit more about him than you with all due respect
I wouldn't actually say he's been better probably on a par. But it's quite clear who is the better keeper out of the twoHe been better than john this season couldn't give a shit about what he did last season
Everyone for sale at a price.....open your wallet BlackburnAccording to Nixon.
I agree we have surely seen from last season and getting rid of Maja and how that knocked the team backwards. Also 32 is not old for a keeper.I wouldn't sell any player if it reduced the quality of the first XI. Grigg can go, Big Jon mustn't.
