Black Summer on Netflix

Just watched the first series, seems to focus less on biting action and gore and more on how ruthless the survivors are too each other, that bloke in the diner would have been sussed out straight away.
Favourite bit is the long sequence with the beardy bloke getting chased all over from the school the dopey twat.

Well worth watching IMO, camera work keeps things claustrophobic and constantly tense. Slightly disappointed by S2 though, especially the Lodge episode which was too long for the story told. It seems to me a realistic portrayal of a fast zombie outbreak, but always seems to be about survivors being utter dicks to each other.

The link to Z Nation is misleading, that was a great laugh for a few seasons but went up its own arse similar to Walking Dead and is only in the same universe as Black Summer.

Onto Series 2 ep 2, they're all a bunch of kernts. And idiots too, they never close a door behind them
Canny viewing though, if you're into the zombie genre
