Anyone else seen those leaked Sony emails about whether or not Idris Elba should be cast as James Bond after Daniel Craig?

A couple of people have said that Bond's character is white and he should only be played by white actors.

I think it'd be pretty interesting to see a black James Bond like.

We've had an Irish James Bond and a black president so can't see why not. I think Daniel Craig was the best of the lot although Skyfall was dreadful.

1 - James Bond is a codename so it doesn't matter who he is

2 - Elba couldn't act the goat so would be perfect for the role

i think it's good that it's always Brits that have played him, but colour? i couldn't care less. Elba is a very good actor and he has a 'presence' on screen. he'd be a good bond imo.

He was the best Bond ever like

100% for me. First bond I watched was goldeneye, he played Bond perfectly and I just cant get away with Craig. Elba will probably be no better and no worse of a Bond to me, neither are right for the character.
