My mate is a copper and when asked about Black Eye Friday, he reckons it's a none event really.

A few fights, but all contained and most turn out at handbags at 10 paces.

... what he dreads is Domestic Sunday which comes after Black eye Friday.

This is the day when the wife finds out how much the husband blew of his Christmas pay on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Couple this
with the facebook messages of said husband seen by wifes mates copping off with young lass from work etc
