Those black cats on the north stand are embarrassing.

Some forrin owners want adverts on the back above the number and on the bottom below the number and on the shorts anarl. Scudamore may be an arse but hes fighting against that as it makes the shirts look tacky and indistinguishable form Mexican and Scottish ones plus itd devalue both the PL & Main Sponsors effect.
We've got a forrin owner.

It was something to do with it being the logo of the SAFC Supporters Association. That meant along with Reg Vardy and Asics we had 3 'company' logos on our shirt when the maximum allowed was 2.

If you want to change the name of a 100 year old stadium, fill your ground with tacky adverts, or change the colour of your home strip it's fine, but stick a tiny traditional emblem on your sleeve you get clamped down on.

If it had been one of the Premier League's darling clubs it would have been fine. Remember when we tried to sign Brad Friedel, but couldn't get a work permit for him, Liverpool then came in for him and got one nee bother?

If we have a black cat anywhere can we return to it just being ... well, a black cat?

Is it really necessary for it to be a growling, claws out, stalking PANTHER that's COMING TO GET YAH! coz Sunderland footballers are just so scary and threatening and massively aggressive and cunning?

It's a football club emblem. Can't it just be a cat?

They might have got permission from the Premier League to put it on for the season after the whole enquiry thing. Even if they haven't there is no way the Premier League will make them remove it due to its significance.

They let us put a Foundation of Light sticker on our shirts for a game the other year too.
