Birmingham

Just had a quick look at their accounts. It's hard to believe, but they make Derby's look good, They're an absolute disaster area. The holding company is equally insolvent, but are quoted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The immediate holding company of the football club, Birmingham City plc, has a large number of shareholders (the HK company has about 80%, and, bizarrely, BCFC owns 670,000 shares in its own holding company). Who St Andrews was sold to is anyone's guess. Oh, and the auditors resigned last August.

Probably should not have bought it if they had no clue how to run it mate. Now, before you reach for the reply button, I understand they put money in. That said, in PR terms, football terms and pissing fans off terms, it did not go very well. Don't hate them. Wish them no harm, but it did not work out well.
Agree that they have put money in, but they have had to, they thought they would make a quick buck with promotion at the 1st time of asking a formality. Unfortunately football doesn't work like that so have had to put money in to hope to recoup in the longer term. I thought as a being a businessman this is part & parcel of the job. For Donald, the chance of going from Eastleigh to Sunderland was too good to be true and you know what they say about things being too good to be true
