Agreed keep the gap the same as it is now at worst any bigger we are gone

TBH, I think we need to reduce the gap in this round of fixtures. We're at home to a poor side who are probably safe (albeit not mathematically), Birmingham are away to relegation rivals. If we win, that put's the pressure on. On the plus side, if we win, should Birmingham win as well, it drags Bolton back into trouble.

The obvious elephant in the room is that we struggle to put two half decent consecutive performances together.

Bolton will be fine it's more pressure on us obviously and Birmingham playing Burton next week doesn't help

If Bolton lose, they're in trouble. Last six games are Derby, Millwall, Barnsley, Wolves, Burton and Forest. The last two should be okay (assuming Burton are down by then) but the other four are tricky. In contrast, Birmingham have Burton, Bristol City, Wolves, Sheffield Utd, QPR and Fulham. Were Birmingham to beat Bolton, I'd say Bolton were in more danger given that they were level on points.

Birmingham winning today was a disaster

Even if we win and they lose on Monday (a big if) we’ll be 2 points behind them and they’ll still have Burton up next

We have to win the next 3 or 4 just to potentially catch the other teams. They’re all 8 points above us.

Today was a kick in the teeth, but it’s the defeats to those teams around us through the season that will condemn us. Not this weekends results.

Doesn't matter if it was today they won or Tuesday we are in same position as before Friday

Actually we're a bit better off as we only need to match Birmingham on points to stay up on GD, we actually needed one point more than Barnsley. Lets beat Sheff Wed tomorrow before we get too excited though;)

Brum winning has taken the wind out of the sails from a massive win Friday night. Yes if we hadn't have won that game we would be down now, but Brum winning is a killer blow. We now have to win tomorrow to keep treading water, and whilst that's possible, the players will know anything else is curtains. We don't deserve to stay up, nor should a team with 31 points from 39 games which is pitiful.

I just hope we get bums on seats tomorrow in numbers. The crowd are up for it and the players put in a shift and performance. If that happens and we don't get the result we can at least have no regrets about this fixture at least. If we revert to being negative, lacking confidence on the ball, and find ourselves 2 or 3 down at half time, which is normally the way with home games, it will be the end and probably a fitting end at that.

If we stay up we deserve it and if we gain a point on other teams tomorrow it won't be over
