Bilsdale transmitter: Replacement TV mast could take months to build
A meeting has heard it could take months to build and would be unsuitable for winter.

Pontop is closer to us than Bilsdale but have TS postcode in County Durham, so every aerial is pointed to Bilsdale.I have a feeling I'd be better off going on the roof and pointing my aerial west towards Pontop intead.
It is, but Bilsale is much higher, so there's a better line of sight. That's the only reason I can think why everyone switched some time ago - cos when I was a kid, I'm certain everyone pointed the other way.Pontop is closer to us than Bilsdale but have TS postcode in County Durham, so every aerial is pointed to Bilsdale.

Can you recommend any fitter to rotate aerial to Pontop? It is, but Bilsale is much higher, so there's a better line of sight. That's the only reason I can think why everyone switched some time ago - cos when I was a kid, I'm certain everyone pointed the other way.
I’m still without most channels tooI've lost all my f***ing channels again.
I've had 53 Freeview tv channels (out of a total of 76) working, for the past month or so, but they've all disappeared again, and aren't coming back, even when I try to retune.![]()
I managed to get 53 channels back, at 6a.m this morning, before I went to work.I’m still without most channels too
Taken over from Thor for sending down thunderbolts. It's all China's fault.
You could always go round to see the old folk for a natter. Two birds, one stone.I'm getting fed up with it now like... autumn's arrived , the nights are closing in and the colder weather is starting to bite. Fortunately I've got a stick but my terrestrial /freeview channels are still fucked. It's a bloody disgrace. I don't pay for a license to put up with this shit. It's the old folk I feel particularly sorry for. A lot of them need their tellys for a bit of company.
Aye, OK.You could always go round to see the old folk for a natter. Two birds, one stone.
