How can you possibly not have rated Bardsley better than jones and also rate Cattermole as a footballer. Bardsley scored more goals for us from full back than Cattermole who plays in f***ing midfield. All I can think is that you just love a f***ing argument

That argument is BOLLOX . I'll play and give my best as well, will that be enough ? He's not the best right back at the club either he's f***ing rubbish
I'll rip this post to bits later. What a f***ing spanner

Back in the days of Rev, it was clear that Jones was a hard working player who could do a job at RB, without being great or being first choice. I think that this is still the case. This season has been harder for him and the weaknesses which are the reason epithets like 'hard working' get used to describe him have become more prevalent. He's a limited player having a spell of poor form, but, in terms of what we need for an attritional relegation battle slog, he's probably the best option we have, at the moment. Maybe giving him a hard time will make him pull his socks up or maybe giving him a hard time will make things worse. I'd be inclined to go for the idea that support and encouragement might bear more fruit than abusive knackery, though.

In summary, whatever his limitations, our being a twat whilst sitting with flabby arse cheeks hanging over the edge of our seats may not be likely to make things better.

He is very poor, mind. I'm mystified why Yedlin doesn't get more games- he's not a world-beater but surely an improvement?

We aren't second bottom because we have a team of world beaters but I wouldn't say Jones is the worst player in the squad.

Purely at defending I think he is. Id give the edge to Bardsley going forward in terms of quality but again Jones works harder getting up and down.

At defending I think he is.

Dont be ridiculous, Bardsley is far better, at defending, attacking, and everything in between.

Yes genuine question. Logical as in if you had seen him you'd know he was crap.
Answer it is

That is where your argument falls down. He has played for his country, getting more than a dozen caps, so cant be THAT crap, unless of course youre going to continue to stick your head in the sand, and get even sillier.

Can see Yelin getting another chance to impress. His pace could be a big factor in limiting Martial's effectiveness outwide.
On Saturday I got thinking that with the options we had Johnson should have been first choice for me of course ( Liverpool are not deserving of as much respect as we showed them) but how it would have been better sticking Yedlin on where our bustling centre forward was playing - ie ahead of Jones. It's not ideal but it would have firmed up the right hand side. For backs against the wall , play for a point games only of course. But at least his pace offers us options in the break.

It does. With Yedlin and PVA on the wide areas of the pitch. It would also cause he opposition to be cautious with committing men forward incase of counter. Very one sided at the moment, down the left. Saying that Ndoye out wide, is tactically embarrassing. Doesn't track back and is wasted.
