There’s ‘shite’ and there’s ‘not liking them’.

I don’t particularly care for Billy Joel but he’s not ‘shite’. He’s clearly got some fairly unique talent in playing and writing, it just doesn’t really appeal to me. There are a lot of people out there who possess neither and they would be ‘shite’.

This is what a lot of people (or wind up merchants) on here fail to grasp - not liking something doesn't make it shit, simply means you don't like it. Apart from Mamma Mia which is truly shit.
