Biggest wastes of talents ever in football

David Rush by a million miles. All through school we were opposition captains and he was the best player in Sunderland easily. Should have made it big should Rushy

quite possibly but frankly after a decent start looked bang average at second tier level. As in not wasted talent - which you could say someone like Martin smith maybe did- just simply not good enough

you're not seriously having a pop at someone for picking their hometown club they supported all their lives over money and trophiesare you?

that should be praised by any football fan surely

the Wolves bloke who quit i his early 20's due to being a Jehovahs witness is worth a shout

in what way? he can neither run not tackle like Yaya and Yaya didn't have his skill on the ball

they're nothing like each other
Peter Knowles, good call, was a fantastic player.

Look up Leon Jeanne

Was the next QPR hope back in 1998/99
Played a bit like sterling and had the same stature , was destined for great things
Couldn’t read or write , was homesick, got a couple of girls pregnant and fell in with a load of drug dealers
We shipped him off to Cardiff where he fell in again with the local drug dealers and has been in and out of prison ever since

Gigi Meroni in with a shout anarl.
The Italian George Best, girls, girls, long hair, late nights, mod/hippy lifestyle, fashion, drink, drugs, banned for missing drug tests when his three team mates gave positive tests, fashion designing, self taught artist, Italian transfer fee record at age 21 when leaving Genoa for Torino, lived with a divorcee in mid 60s Italy, fall outs with Italy manager, single handedly ripped Grande Inter apart inflicting their first home defeat for three years, caused riots in Torino when news of a move to Juve leaked out.
Killed at 24 in car accident running across a road. Weirdly the car was driven by a Torino fan student who later became very rich and president of Torino.

Torino fans from the Superga plane disaster in which the entire team died to the above fiasco plus living in Juves shadow haven’t had much luck for a long long time. Two very interesting stories.
