Biggest club in London

I agree, massive fan base. Why didn't they build a big stadium until lately?
Land prices in London.

Only Arsenal have relocated and i think they did a deal with Islington council for the land.

They also owned a prime piece of real estate in an expensive part of north London which they sold to part finance the move.

What has that got to do with anything?

It's just a silly topic worthy of the playground. Hand on heart, I'm glad I've never cared about the size of a club or measured football in those terms. I hope to God I never do.
This.
Surely, all that should matter to a football supporter is what YOUR club means to YOU ?
All this 'big club' crap just smacks of some kind of weird snobbery to me.

Wasn't really referring to recent times. Was more questioning why was Upton park so much smaller compared to to peak roker park/st James. I agree they have a massive fanbase.

He's world number one, so he's currently the best.
Who do you think is the best?
Whoever has won the majors just like in football the best team wins league's

Anyone who says fanbase etc is talking a load of crap, an internet team set up on a YouTube channel could theoretically end up with a million "fans" would they suddenly be a big club, simple fact is big clubs win leagues small clubs don't that's it the end, meritocracy or nothing.

Dustin Johnson is top of the golf league, he currently had the most ranking points.

So you base the size of a club solely on the number of league titles won? Over what time frame? All time, last 50 years, last 20 years?

All time again otherwise stated the point in success if it doesn't count, what's the point in anything if people can just forget it after a while.

Well that's a great system.
Totally flawless.
Let's look at Preston. They haven't played in the top flight for 60 years. They have an all time average attendance of 13k (38th highest in England), they have only 46 top flight season. But they have two league titles. 1889 and 1890.

Preston are just as big as Spurs using your system.
Tottenham have 85 top flight seasons, have spent 1 year outside the top flight in the last 70 years. Average attendance of 34k (4th highest in England). They have a stadium which sells out to 60k fans, but they've won two league titles.
Same as Preston.

Do you agree that Wolves, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Newcastle and Aston Villa and Leeds are all bigger than Spurs?

Spurs on the same level as Preston, Derby, Burnley and Portsmouth.

Pro Vercelli have won 7 Serie A titles more than Napoli, Fiorentina, Roma and Lazio. They haven't played in the top flight since the 30s.

Torino have 9 don't they? More than those clubs you listed combined iirc

Edit.
Just looked it up Genoa have 9. Torino and Bologna have 7.

Roma 3. Napoli, Lazio and Fiorentina have 2 each
