Big Sam for England

I actually think Big Sam would be a great choice for England if I wasn't a Sunderland fan. Obviously dont want him to get it.
We have seen in this tournament how being well organised can get you through, big sams teams are definitely organised. England under Woy lacked organisation, he didn't have a clue of what system or players to use.
The worst thing that could happen to Sunderland this first BREXIT then England lose to Iceland & Roy steps down & Now they want BSA. If this happens the trap door looks closer for me a new manager would be difficult to get up to speed with the transfer market all around a bad week for us and we have not kicked a ball....

Fair play to him if he got it. He would be ideal for the job.

I'd be pretty devastated though if I'm honest, I hope the people saying he won't be the FA's choice are correct.

He'd jump at the chance of managing England. Its his dream job

He probably would but I doubt he'd put up with the terms if he had an interview.

Southgate will get it imo.

Might be a daft question but I'll ask it anyway, let's say Sam was offered the job, would we be able to convince him to be England manager and stay as Sunderland at the same time? I mean let's be honest, the national team job is hardly that time consuming, and I'm sure an experienced man could hold it down with a club job at the same time. Wishful thinking of course.

The FA may not allow it.

Lynne if you're reading this please let the big fella know that we don't what him to go. We the fans of Sunderland appreciate him more than the national side fans will ever do.

Hope not be typical Sunderland though. Finally get a good manager then he gets the England job and leaves us.

He'd go in a heartbeat im afraid. It's his lifetime dream.
It is, and hes always said that but I'd be suprised if they'd have him... Theres a lot of people involved in the choosing of an England manager and I think a number of them will want people aready in the establishment arc.... Gary Neville, Gareth Southgate.

In all honesty I just can't imagine the FA making a good managerial appointment..... and that would be someone such as Sam

Rafa, surely ? He's the best manager in the world, you know.
I DON'T THINK YOUR TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY BRO!

THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS A WORLD CLASS LEAGUE REET!!!!...... said a mag sometime today guarenteed hehe
