get the lights out for the lads
Cant wait for tomorrows massive clash. The town has really got into cup fever this week with numerous local shops hanging SSFC merchandise in their shop windows.
Also heard a rumour that Joe McElderry will sing the national anthem if shields make the final.

Fuck North Shields.
Wasn't many there from Shields, maybe two buses. There was 4 of us from school went together on one of the buses, wasnt too bad at the seafront and in the town but once we got to Christie park it was a bit lively around the ground. Got outside the ground as the Shields players bus arrived and we got some complimentary tickets for the mainstand of one of the players. I remember their fans nicking a Shields flag and setting fire to it on the terrace over to our right before the match. Watched first half from the seats but we went down onto terrace behind the goal with the other small group of Sandies for the second half. I remember some of their idiots coming round from the other end to stand next to us trying to goad us into a fight but nowt serious other than a few clips between the two lots happened. Shields lost 2-0 I think, canny crowd there of about 4000, much more than the crowd at Simonside for the first leg.I was at that game like
If you remember I got my scarf nicked by morcambe fans in a bit of a punch up then they put it in the centre circle which I collected
Some of the bigger Shields lads were waiting for me when I got back to the stands so the Morcambe fans kept their distance after that
i'll check me programmes tomorrow and post the teamsWasn't many there from Shields, maybe two buses. Good luck to Team Solent today. Smashing little club, only formed in 2005 and with no great financial backing.
Hopefully they will progress and earn some much needed cash.
If they've reached this stage I'll be surprised if they aren't paying decent wedge.Good luck to Team Solent today. Smashing little club, only formed in 2005 and with no great financial backing.
