Lol what a load of shitegreat support and really good for football as the university team will make a quid or two if they get their planning right with catering etc
hopefully a successful day for shields on the way to a potential final
we've never really had a day at Wembley apart from the rugby club a few years ago
for the older fans on here who pretty much did support mainly sunderland and shields back in the late sixties and early seventies hopefully a small taste of success beckons.
clubs like Whitley Bay, North Shields, Morpeth and now maybe South Shields are surely good for the area when they win national cups
something sadly both Sunderland and Newcastle have failed to deliver since the late 60's and early 70's
for shields yes they were the peterlee days and they were the simonside hall days but there's always been the potential for a canny league club in shields
being honest the lack of a league club is probably why so many shields people took the eco and the number 14 to sunderland rather than the train to Newcastle for many years
in todays modern game there's surely a lower league place future for a Shields or a Gateshead
lets face it both clubs would be good for crowds of 5 or 6 thousand if doing OK
and even for sunderland supporters and mags it would be good to see a game and get away from the circus
My dad did volunteer work at Simonside Hall in the 60s working on the wooden stands he used to watch them when not watching Sunderland as he had his season ticket.great support and really good for football as the university team will make a quid or two if they get their planning right with catering etc

Realistically do Solent stand a chance?
Btw I've never seen Sheels play but I know Gavin and he's a cracking player?

Fuck off you sandie gits, SAFC are in crisis and you fuckers are slavering on about a f***ing mag pub team.
Have a word with yourselves man. You are not worthy, bunch of tribe less traitors, we don't want you.
I know plenty of proper SAFC sandies who don't give a shite about your mag pub team, proper lads.
Do one man.

The Wessex league isn't a great standard tbh, Shields should piss it.
80 people is a good attendance in the WL.
Good luck shields wish I was going.
Never ever heard him referred to as flana in my life. North Shields lot were over the other side of the ground from the roof Terrace so he's got a canny gob reach for a disabled bloke.
I had a look at the Solent team and recognised a few names as they were in PL academies. The university is pretty non-academic and they have a strong football studies department so there's bound to be a fair few decent younguns in there but think the Shields lot will be too experienced / savvy for them. The Wessex league isn't a great standard tbh, Shields should piss it.

There was a canny few North Shields under the balcony. They were whinging on when the cheer went up when Sunderland took a 2-1 lead at Bournemouth. Also when they scored that's where the lad who ran on the pitch came from.
Dunno about any spitting incident as I was stood at the bottom corner diagonally opposite balcony.
