"Bids lodged for players"

Strange this imo....all seems a bit premature given we only got relegated last Saturday. A cynic might think it was planned for....or a non-cynic may just see it as having a contingency plan.

Anyway....who do you think they might be.

I'd be fairly confident that Naismith has been offered a deal...... less than his current wage but over a longer period.
Who says we have bids lodged for anyone

Names though!!

Who are the players he's "scouted"

Wonder if he's finally found that dossier he complied when "in between jobs"

For a player who can play ACM, LSF, RSF and CF....bargain I'd say.
I reckon the club would end up being liquidated for that alone.

Is that we've got bids lodged for players or have other clubs got bids lodged for our players. My guess is the latter. You don't normally need to bid for free agents, because like this season, we'll be filling our squad with the likes of Piennar, Gibson, Anichebe and Lescott etc. Stability for Short is financial. He wants to reduc his debt but maintain our league status. He's failed this season, he's giving Moyes a second chance next season, even though neither of them want to be here. Happy Days!

I wish you'd fuck off with this Naismith bollocks
Its a cert now tbf.

Naismith can get fucked. It's another Danny Graham like signing. You just know he'll be absolutely f***ing guff before he even touches the ball.

It'll be Duffer Dave's main target, the useless wank.
He was good at Everton like per minute on the pitch, fuck knows what happened at Norwich but Moyes could gee him up again ;)

Diame 3 million
Murphy 4 million
Hanley 5 million

We'll put the money to good use.

And of course it's a good thing that we finally seem to be trying to do some forward planning and early business. Shame we didn't try that zany idea in the last ten years.

We have to get the wage bill down from £83 million + (it was that in 2015-2016 - who knows what it has been this season!)
We need to reduce it by half. We need to bring in players who will have to prove what they are worth.
What a lovely change it will be to see players playing for SAFC, putting in real effort and commitment.
Somehow, I suspect there will be a lot more pain before that happens

And what's he done at Norwich? He's 30 and has scored 5 goals for Norwich
He is an attacker rather than an out and out goalscorer. He is very versatile too

You said Gibson and Oviedo would be good signings.....
Oviedo Will be a good signing

Its a cert now tbf.

He was playing more than 30 games a season for an upper half premier team just a couple of seasons ago and was a star man at Rangers and people think he is pap

Naismith would do a job for us next year. So we have bids in, even tho we can not register signings till July 1st?
