A19 or A19/M62

Bearing in mind we'll be leaving at 2am, so we shouldn't hit traffic, which route will be quickest?

Just switch your sat nav on and let it take you. Drive slowly and the roads will be quiet.

your best off getting through the traffic on the 62 before half 4 mate. just get there a bit earlier and have an extra pint or 2

A19-A1-M1-M62-M60(past the Trafford Centre way,not Stockport) M56.

Shouldn't take much more than 2 Hours at that time of the morning.

Correct route and general time to get there

In the back of a massive golden Roller, sipping champers while being sucked off by the Minogue sisters while watching a repeat of the 73 Cup Final.

Head for Manchester way mate - it's in Manchetser iirc

The A19 will be quickest, but has the downside of being absolutely nowhere near Manchester at any stage whatsoever. ;)

Turn off the A19 at Thirsk and follow the signs. You'll pretty much need to get on the M62 at some stage anyway. I've tried every possible route between the NE and Manchester, and they all take about the same time tbh. The biggest arseache is always traffic on the M62, which obviously won't be a problem at that time of night.

If you do that, make sure its Manchester International Airport that you select, and not some "shotton" sized airport f***ing miles away :oops:

Why does someone with an iPhone and iPad need to ask how to navigate to a major international landmark on motorways in zero traffic?

Unless they're made out of cornflakes boxes?

Because, these devices usually tell you the shortest distance, I want to know the quickest. Out of the two route at the time of the morning I'm travelling, one router might actually be quicker than the other even though it's not the shortest or quickest according to google.
