Asiana under the old echo building is top notch ,not cheap though!

Couldn’t pay me to go back after the appalling service I had, raised it with the manager/owner who just shrugged it off, not even offering a complimentary drink.

The best food is Sunderland is at the City Bistro in the college. That should end the thread really............It does have odd opening hours.
El Nido is nice but a bit niche and it's not Wahaca.
Angelo's for Italian for me is the best Italian in town, Martino's at Seaburn runs it close but has a better atmosphere

For something different for lunch veggie/vegan - try The Good Apple
