Best portrayal of a dead icon in film

This clip is from the film "Yesterday" the story being that the Beatles never got together. The guy that plays John Lennon absolutely nails it.
Good clip . Interesting idea but I don't think John was that much of a people person. Stranger knocks on the door . Kettle on 🤔.

Phoenix as Johnny Cash was canny

I thought Shaking Stevens did a canny Elvis for a while anarl.😁

Janet Jackson's not bad as Michael either.
Even looks like him a bit.
Wonder how that happened?

I absolutely detest Yesterday.
But I’m sure I’ve seen footage of literally John inviting a stranger in for a cuppa while he was recording with Phil Spector 🤣
The bloke was weird and they couldn’t wait to get shot of him mind. Probably in his best interests considering Spector was murderously insane anyways
Maybe it was this?

Roy Schneider was class in All That Jazz as Bob Fosse. No idea if he was really like that but it’s a brilliant film
