I have a feeling I will do exactly that next year. But this is our first proper christmas at home with the kids. I've put an original fireplace back in and want the real tree to go with it so I can feel like Victorian dad.

Anar it's miles away Bob but the Ikea ones are spot on. £25 but you get a £25 voucher to spend in January as part of the deal.

I would go with @Longy's advice though. Get a proper good quality fake one and use it for years. No farting on and no mess.

As has been mentioned Ikea have a good deal on at the minute. Also the Redby flower shop used to do canny ones
