Best Mexican food in Sunderland

I actually thought Mexico 70 was shite. Haven't been to the others.

I noticed that "El Nido" in Frederick Street shut down just before Christmas.

Disappointed, but not surprised at that mind. I went there quite regularly, very good food. Unfortunately people want old el paso when they get Mexican food here. Brave of them to try their own twist on things.

Having said that the service was shocking. They always seemed canny enough lads but didn't seem to have a clue about working in a restaurant.

I get that impression, I went based on the chat on here but was disappointed.
