What unique sound? He created the sound by putting it through the Marshall speakers.
Like I say unique.
What unique sound?
Play me some
John Shuttleworth
Prefer his version of Behind the mask to Clapton's as well!Greg Philinganes. Absolutely tremendous when he played the Falling in Between tour with Toto a few years ago.
Taken a while to get to Don Airey - Sunderlands finest!Gadgie out of deep purple?
Massive lads fan too
Louise from the telly?Minchin
Nail on head here.
Most people think good is virtuoso. Playing solos.
It should be how you contribute to the song.
Sometimes that means not playing at all.
That perfectly describes Jon Lord!Haway man. Anyone can not play keyboards on a song. That doesn't make them great.
They have to know when and when not to play, granted, but to be truly "the best" they should be able to do the virtuoso stuff when necessary.
It's all well and good being able to play something subtle and easy to play that fits with the song, but if they can't play the difficult stuff as well then they aren't "the best" keyboardist. That label would go to someone that can play the subtle and easy stuff when the song needs it but also be able to pull off the most difficult stuff too when the song needs that.
