Best Comedian ?



It's alot like food, it's personal taste really. To me my fav is probably Dave chapel, even though he's went a bit too far into preaching mode the past few years his show and his big specials are still amazing. Also Eddie Murphy as a kid and Chris rock all amazing all sorta spin offs from the OG Pryor.
 
If we are talking about stand ups only, plus not just the ones still gigging, then personally I would say Billy Connolly. The sheer amount of availability such as dvds, Youtube videos and even interviews shows he is giving it 100% every time. Cannot fault anything I've seen. Check out Parky in Oz on Youtube. Goid segments with Billy and Kenny Everett.

I'd say about 1 in 40 of us are naturally funny
Only a fraction take that further
Also as said like music
Many want to laugh at a simple gag
Man walks into a bar ...ouch
Hilarious
Others want to work a bit harder or appreciate how an hours performance is put together
