I still play bomberman, Mario, reunion etc but some of the older ones were shocking

Some games have stood the test of time, they tend to be the ones that get released every gen.

Another vote for PS3 here. Less than £50 on eBay and you can get tons of games for a couple of quid each which are hardly any different to the current PS4 gen of games. The fat versions are also built like tanks.

Mine gets unplugged, transported to the shed where it runs in a haze of tab smoke, and returned to the house on a daily basis. Been doing that for about 10 years and it still runs perfectly.

Just an update, I was in Sainsburys at the Arnison centre earlier and they had two Mini SNES for sale. More expensive than second hand but you can just pick it straight up, you get a guarantee and you know (roughly) where it’s been.

Definitely worth getting one as they are class. You can even soft mod them to play every SNES game.
