Now that the Manchester card is over (disappointing to say the least, shocking to let a world title fight bet stopped over that... but anyway thats another story), is anyone stopping up for this one?

I fancy Berto for a mid round KO personally, Ortiz couldnt make it at Light Welter and I really think there is something about Berto.

Juan Manuel Lopez fight is on Showtime slightly earlier also, be interesting to see how he stands up against Salido who took Gamboa the distance. IMO one of the most exciting potential fights will be Juan Ma and Gamboa.

I'm going to stay up like, I'm picking Berto anarl.

can aye have link pretty pretty please;)
i have been to brum today so link was polite

Well i'll be watching on flashsportstreams, but you have to pay for that.

If you want something for free i'd imagine if you get on www.myp2p.eu you'll find a link on there. If theres nothing on the main menus, check the forum.

Card starts on HBO at 2.30am BST.

I dont think there is much of an undercard, as HBO were using the Khan fight as part of their pull.

You're not wrong, he's still in a bad way from the first knock down.

Who was it on here said that boxing has gone stale the other day?

What a fight this has been! Its been to and fro. So many knockdowns :eek:

This could easily be fight of the year if it ended now! :)

Round 7 was the best so far (i think it was 7) Berto looked like he had knocked Ortiz out, Ortiz got off the floor and put Berto down with 20 seconds to go. Tremendous action, both fighters been down twice. In my opinion, Ortiz is ahead at the minute.

typical I turn it on at round 8

it definitely didn't look like ortiz's first fight at that weight, bit shocking getting the point took off him but don't think it will make a difference

More than deserved that, Berto looked out of his depth and the better fighter won the fight.

The question it leaves for me, is can Kell Brook contest at that level? (from a british point o view anyway.) In my opinion, he could definitely put up a fight there. I wouldnt want to say if he'd win or not.

be interesting to see him have a crack at it, I'd love to see khan move up to welterweight (after he fights Bradley ) and see what he can do
