Old news to some of us, but finally made official by the club.

Good news
 

So he's got another 2 years?

I thought this would be his last season, so as long as his body doesn't completely fall apart this can only be good news and gives us more time to get in a young batsman to replace him.

Erm.... we have G.Muchall

The only cricketer to average UNDER 30 and still get contract after contract.
 
diva said recently he wants to extend his stay anarl.

apocalypse averted, for another year or two, a stay of execution during which time we can hopefully sort out our batting future
