Bendtner on a permanent

Back up :oops: who to, Ji?

f***ing hell, I would rather the lad was confident, it's better than Torres and Carroll who walk around the pitch in self pity.

Bendter doesn't look confident on the pitch, he looks like he can't be bothered.
Cantona looked confident on the pitch.

It's his off-field arrogance that MoN is taking the mick out of there...

Back up to Sess, Fraizer and the quality goalscorer we hopefully buy in the Summer.

Ji and Wickham aren't ready yet no, but certainly I'd expect Ji to score many more goals than Bendter by the end of his career...

His hold up play and touch are up there with the best i have ever seen for somebody playing in a Sunderland shirt

Lovely, but he hardly scores and he's a striker. No way would I sign him unless he and Arsenal reduce the money.

The way he brings it down on his chest and brings other into the game is fantastic. Even after scoring people round me kept whinging about him "not being in the box" when Campbell was in there playing as the main striker

For £4 million he would be the signing of the summer, he is top class

Alot of Sunderland fans will only accept a player if he runs around like John Kay / Kevin Ball did, this is not Bendtners game, and because he does not do this he is "lazy" and "shite", his performance this season away to Chelsea against top draw centre halfs was a joy to behold.

For £4m it would be a cracking deal whatever some of the muppets on here say. Throw in MONs motivational and tectical nous too but I think his wages will be the stumbling block.

Where has the 4mill valuation come from? Can't see Arsenal letting him go for £4 mill...

Seems to be the fee being talked about in the media, and why would Arsenal not let him go for that ? Wenger does not want him and will look to cash in

Many of you on here have abused him, so stop
I want him at SAFC on a permanent deal.
For 4 million it is a bargain!

Not only does he score goals but he give us our identity...something Gyan and Bent brought to the team and left with.
He is a character and I have always loved him.

Fuck off.

2 notable performances this season, and you want him signed up?

Get some goons on here like. 5 goal a season striker for £4m, or get an out and out goalscorer in the summer for £10m+? Whay aye, lets get the lad who is comparable to the late Sir Kenwyne Jones, and has made it publicly clear, that he wants to go to Russia to earn £200k a week.

Clueless

Unless he doesn't have long left on his contract, they'll want more than 4 mill. Zamora is like 6 years older and Fulham got more than 4 mill for him.

Wishful thinking, IMO. I think Arsenal would want around 7-8 mill and he'd want around the 50/60 grand a week mark. Defo would not pay that.

I can't see what you base that on like. It would depend in various things such as where they play, 100 goals in Germany is better than 150 in south Korea for example.

Bendtner is quality, some of our fans just don't want him to do well and need have.

It's a joy to watch, I am sick of hearing people say he has a bad first touch. How many other players can control a goal kick on their chest and pass it first time...his technique is brilliant. Would love him to stay.

This like, lad behind me at Wigan was boooing him FFS

I'd agree with that...I like Ji and would defo keep him as a back up striker. Thought his goal against City was well taken, but people on here were on about Ji's international record not so long ago and it came out most of his goals were against teams like Taiwan and New Zealand.

I don't like Bendner that much, but his international goal record is much better than Ji's.

Our fans just nail him, after Chelsea away people moaned but he was unreal that day. Agains Wigan he got 2 assists but it still wasn't enough, he was apparently lazy. It turned Out that he was 3rd terms of ground covered iirc, that shut the clueless 'lazy' brigade up.

Some of his hold up play yesterday when he was dropping off to the centre circle was brilliant like

A bit like your summary of Sessegnon not so long ago eh

I stand by it at the time like, and he has since gone on to proove the point i was trying to make, he was performing nowhere near the levels he is capable of. He now is
