Fair play to the polis like. Often get hammered, but a couple of weeks to get 'their' man is impressive.

I lived on Tyneside in the mid to late eighties and was burgled twice with all sorts of stuff of sentimental value stolen and no-one was ever caught or my stuff retrieved. Additionally my car was stolen several times and the thievery was the reason that I moved away from the North East.
