Ben Duckett

This whole thing is a complete mess, ill disciple runs through the entire set-up both on and off the pitch.

Talent-wise this should be a close series, but we're such a shambles we're going to get thrashed. So annoying.

It appears to me that these lads don't realize they are not playing an away game in the back waters of county cricket where they can get on the drink after each days play and that when you play for England some members of the public may know who you are especially when you are out n a gang.

The media people, Vaughan, Agnew etc who see the team at close quarters say they train hard and genuinely enjoy it. No one tries to avoid it and pull a fast one like would have happened in the past. I believe them too.

It's when they're left to their own devices that problems seem to be occurring. Very frustrating.

These are grown men though ffs who are under the spotlight for various off field issues. They should know better, still it’s fuck all if they were having a laugh.

As Ben Duckett (a nobody), why are you pouring a drink over Jimmy Anderson (one of the most experienced players)? This isn't his first offence on the 'incident in bar' front either - little tit.

This 'we will hold a full investigation ' malarkey is bullsh*t. Fine one or both and move on quickly, do not let this hang about. Done, over and finished!

From the Guardian

Duckett himself has a bit of form. He was removed as captain of the England Under-19s after failing a fitness test; he missed a pre-season tour for Northamptonshire for the same reason and he has been to court on a drink driving charge. These incidents do not sit prettily on his cricketing CV despite his obvious talent. And now this.

Sounds like a piss head

Newspaper reporting that there are a small core of players often at the heart of trouble who will be eased out.

Not Anderson, not the senior players so I can't think who they will be. Although we know Duckett is one

Maybe the ones at the centre of all the controversies the past two months? Just a thought...

Stokes has been trouble for years off the field sadly.

But they won’t ease him out. He’s too good

It's not him they're talking about ..... he's not there ....

Like who?

Can't be Stokes, he's not there.

.... and of course they're not talking about the senior players, they the article said.

Plus, they've just included Stokes in the one-day squad.
