Just watched the first episode, canny watch so far as a teen at the time I remember how mental the whole Beckham thing was. Watching that sending off how soft man and Simone should've been ashamed of himself the way he went down. Hoddle well and truly tossed him under the bus mind afterwards, hoddle was a bit of a shit manager like man management wise a fair few players have said so and the whole spiritual stuff bit of a strange bloke. Good watch it's on Netflix.

Deserved tossing under the bus for that he did cost us the game and it was pathetic let the whole team and nation down

Bar sunlun players he was one of players I used to pretend to be when I was a bairn. Absolutely class player for England. That game against Greece was incredible

He didn't mention this directly but hinted at it.
He said there was a few times they got a call to go and pick him up from places before the press for there.
Taking a risk doing this documentary about how happy they are and how perfect things are can see people coming out of the woodwork if your correct

It’s very much a puff piece. Nearly everyone is being very nice about him. But all the big names are in it so it has gravitas, Figo, Ronaldo, Ferguson, Cantona, Neville, Simione, Perez the lot.

Im up to Episode 3 where he goes to Madrid.

I like Beckham and I will watch it all. I like Victoria too.

Will defo watch this, I loved golden balls growing up as a kid. Can’t imagine many other players would inspire me to get a Mohawk. Thought I was the bees knees with my predator mania boots and Mohawk.

I remember effigies of him being torched afterwards outside grounds the following season....fcking shocking that mind. Was fantastic when he slotted that pen away against them a few years later...the sheer jubilation was amazing to witness.

I like Becks and he came across well when her majesty passed away.
