Been in hospital for over 3 months now... All she has seen in that time is a bloody courtyard. Only in last week has she improved a little

I didn't know. Hope the prognosis is okay. Awful at the best of times but when a teenager (if she is) it will be horrendous. Also for you and the missus.
Ann Frank's Diary is quite inspirational even though it doesnt end well!

Not a religious tome in the slightest, but rather a story about wisdom. It's only 100 pages and very uplifting, even for a young person.

A parent - child book.
Probably more often given to a parent when they have a child but still a "nice" book to share with your child. A story or a poem on each page and a photograph on the opposite page. Probably about 40 pages in total?
