+1 from here. Couldn't get the seat next to me that has been empty all season on the end of the row

Man United
Man City
Arsenal
Spurs
Liverpool
Chelsea
West Ham
Everton
Villa
Newcastle
Leeds

Off the top of my head. What's crap about that?

No shit. What's your point?

Which teams wouldn't on my list?
Newcastle are averaging 44k top half of the prem spending an absolute fortune. What makes you think they would get 40k bottom half of the third division on a boxing day game?

Everton get around 39k in the prem. mancity wouldnt get it either

That's the capacity of Goodison Park, which is nearly always reached for Premier League games.

I'd add Leeds and West Ham

Edit add Villa

The same as what we get when we're a premier league club then? We're talking about a team averaging late 20s on a regular day and pushing up towards 40k on a special occasion on Boxing Day. I don't think it's unrealistic to suggest they could attract that attendance at all.

Goodison Park only holds 39,000, they can't fit any more into their ground  Again, not unrealistic to suggest they'd average late 20s and push for a sell out once a season.
Leeds and man city got less people through the gates than us in the third tier. That's not speculation, that's just a fact. Looking at villas attendances when they were mid table championship, I'd be confident they'd be comfortably less. Other clubs simply haven't been tested and have big glory hunting followers. Would expect half a dozen clubs to match us/exceed us, simply because they have more fans than us and are genuine super powers. Wouldn't be confident of any more than that.

Remember how bad its been for so long. 10 years of relegation struggle, back to back relegation then losing twice at Wembley.

They might have done. Leeds also charge £38 a ticket. As above, it's not unrealistic to suggest they could average late 20s in the third tier and push towards capacity once a season.

Half a dozen clubs is fine. I'd push it to about a dozen.
I'd add Leeds and West Ham

West Ham are averaging nearly 60k this season.
