Gradually stopped watching any live TV a few years ago so decided to finally jack it in, in 2017, haven’t missed it at all. Watch DVDs, online shows and read way more books now. Recommended.

Why are people banging on doors demanding to inspect your home for TV? It's actually quite mental.

Netflix and prime provide a far superior service in my own opinion and I opt in to pay for it because it is fantastic on demand.

Even the BBC would struggle to tax me in Sydney mate.

Maybe it would be easier if they 'hide' all media behind a paywall... it's not like your local newsagent is happy if you just walk in and read for free the newspapers they have on sale.

..and lets be honest, if you find this telly tax a burden, you can cut the aerial wire to your telly and just watch DVD's etc
